From One Side to the Other by Emanuele Martinuzzi from The Art Culture and HIstory Anthology

From One Side to the Other

From one side of amnesia

To the other, the trees

In pilgrimagetranslate

Theirownunknownshadows

Into the thaw of a name,

Now made a leaf.

Intimate to the crevasses,

Of memory, allfaces,

Fadeinto the hieroglyphics of expectation.

Translation by Jessica Cerrato
