WOMAN-A JOURNEY
You wanted her
to be a star,
She deserved to
be the whole galaxy.
You could wander
through her mind,
But it would
cost you an eternity.
You loved her as
a daughter, sister,
Mother, but she
earned equality.
You wanted her
as a better half,
Surrendering her
infinity.
You sought the
shimmering facade,
Of youthful
lustre in utility.
You dwell in her
rational mind outside,
Her heart held
the universe inside.
In the end,
She became more,
Than the world
expected,
She became the
journey.
And like all
journeys,
She did not end.
She changed
direction simply,
And kept on
going on her destiny.
