Special
Exclusive Interview: Tajalla Qureshi
Introduce yourself.
Tajalla Qureshi – I am a gifted wordsmith of
enchantment, crafting intricate tapestries of thought and emotion with the
precision and grace of an artistic virtuoso from Pakistan. I am a visionary
Co-Founder and Co-Editor of The Wordsmith Magazine, where words transform into
pure magic. I am a poet, columnist, essayist, flash fiction writer,
interviewer, journalist, web- designer, researcher and illustrator. A true
creative powerhouse. Writing poetry brings me great joy since it is the true
expression of my spirit. Every line I write seems to bridge the gap between
expression and feeling, transforming ephemeral ideas into enduring poetry.
On the flip, I may explore the depth of the
human experience via poetry, which transcends language to convey beauty,
suffering, love, and hope. It is my haven, where my imagination is unbounded
and creativity flourishes. I interact with the world through poetry, expressing
my passions and combining feelings into a fabric that speaks to people close
and far away. Poetry writing is more than simply a hobby; it is a vocation that
allows one to illuminate the invisible and give voice to the unsaid.
My writings, spanning poetry, flash fiction,
creative articles, and research papers, have earned recognition in over 40
international and national anthologies, prestigious global magazines, e-papers,
and online platforms across Pakistan, the USA, Germany, Canada, Africa, the UK,
and India.
What is the title of your extraordinary works?
Moreover, the titles of my works and the
themes that run through them can be said to highlight the glory, intellect, and
strength of women. They honor the complexity of femininity, illuminating the
hardships, victories, and indomitable spirit of women. My work represents the
evolution of women in society, the quest for self-realization, breakthroughs,
and taking their place in a society that constantly devalues them.
Through my work, I wish to pay tribute to
the beauty of women and their everyday life, in their tales filled with
meaning, respect, and pride, encouraging people to appreciate the myriad shapes
that the emancipation of women is capable of taking.
Have you won any awards for your work?
Well! I shine in the literary world as a
top-ranking author in poetic competitions and presentations at international
forums especially in India, adorned with numerous accolades and certificates.
Besides that, crowned as Miss 20th Century Poetry at the University of Chenab,
Gujrat, Pakistan as talents extend beyond borders and genres.
In addition, I have artistically read my
poetry at the Pakistani Young Writer`s Conference held at Mandi Bahauddin
Pakistan vacant my paper at Kinnard College for Women in Lahore, Pakistan, and
also presented papers at an international conference in Uzbekistan, and
received an honor with certificates.
Furthermore, I am honored at many
International and National Anthologies as a Co-author and Compiler.
