A Peom
King and Queen on a Lily,
All our white cups brimming,
Sweetly-chiming at once.
We are languishing, beautiful,
in the simple bells.
Inconsequential doves,
Deep in the feather-soft,
Of the petals curve,
Even our feet and beaks curl.
One of us dresses in ruby.
One of us is pale and sleepy.
Although awake, the red blush,
Does not rush us. Time sits still,
Beside us, upright on a green stalk.
