Illusion by Aminu Femi Jamiu

Illusion

I fell for the star,
Until I see the moon.
I fell for daffodil,
Until I see rose.
I fell for beauty,
Until emotion bemused me.

Deeply feelings,
Heavenly bounds,
Love exploded!

Shining softly in azure of sky,
Like the soul soil of Senegal,
That planted her seeds of love,
Blooming in a tender grace!

Oh, Illusion bereaved me!
Love life lust in its leisure,
As aorn adorned in an erotic err!

In a leer ineptitude of its inertness,
Fancy fairy fore it's fair,
All abound in abyss of aberration.
Nor am I in scintillate of sacrosanct;
But beneath the bubble of its bay,
Immortality swayed her coins at my palm.
